Power Tools mag is an up and coming independent lesbian centered magazine inspired by queer magazines and print media in the late 90s and early 2000s. Energized by the ways in which these magazines have a beautiful balance of boarderline pornographic photographs and drawings sandwiched between clever, personal, and raw pieces of writing, we are looking to make something hot, sexy, tasteful, cheeky and smart that becomes a wonderful relic of everyday lesbian life. This is a rebellion against the tenderness takeover of the sapphic world.

We are not looking to discriminate, we are looking for anyone (other than cis men) that resonate with lesbianism in whatever shape or form to contribute in whatever medium that excites them.

As Peter Ian Cummings writes in the ‘ANTI-GAY’ October-November 1999 issue of XY Magazine writes, “XY is a magazine that helps gay men get in touch with their souls. I believe today’s young gay en were put on this earth for a reason... here for a religious purpose: to see whether the human race could learn to love its members and ultimately itself. In any event, our mission is an epic one, and we are all blessed to be a part of it.”
